[RMD], reporting after hours today, (AMC)

RMD is expected to post earnings of $0.70 per share and revenue of $521 million for the quarter. Resmed, posted a negative earnings surprise of 1.59% even with the company’s strong global device sales, a concern is their operating expenses. Foreign exchange movements have also affected earanings and sales overseas.

Will their market share in sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) bring them back on the positive side or will headwinds be too much to overcome with a drop at release

Short week, but big jumpers with SONC and WBA today and tomorrow… Here’s the scoop:

First SONC, reporting after hours today, (AMC)

is expected to post earnings of $0.22 per share and revenue of $132 million for the quarter. Althought the restaurant industry has been facing headwinds, Sonic as done well of over the past few years. The Motley fool reports its push to open more franchises will help grow its EPS by 15% anually over the next five years.

WBA is reporting tomorrow before market opens (BMO) and is expected to post earnings of $1.09 per share and revenue of $29,373 million for the quarter. Analysts missed on the top line and underestimated the bottom in the past six quarters. In December, agreeed to sell 865 Rite Aid stores and certain assets related to store operations to Fred’s, Inc. for $950 million in an all-cash transaction. The news popped up the price initially but has since tapered off.
