Aerospace and defense company Hexcel (NYSE:HXL) missed Wall Street’s revenue expectations in Q1 CY2025, with sales falling 3.3% year on year to $456.5 million. The company’s full-year revenue guidance of $1.92 billion at the midpoint came in 3.4% below analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.37 per share was 12.4% below analysts’ consensus estimates.
Investors need to pay close attention to HXL stock based on the movements in the options market lately.
RBC Capital lowered the firm’s price target on Hexcel (HXL) to $62 from $70 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The company reported a soft Q1 with a 3% sales decline, and the management also lowered its 2025 guidance, now reflecting basically flat growth across its end markets, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
